Southern Comfort
Over the weekend I was talking to a good friend of mine about a Southern Savannah GA boy (now living in DC) we know and love. He serves cocktails at the end of a hard day and lives to cook . It got me to thinking, how would he live in Savannah if he were still there and how would he dress for this Fall? Maybe more importantly, how would I dress to get one of his famous cocktails?

Art as Inspiration
It's funny how you can find similarities in art and fashion. Take Vincent Van Gogh's infamous 1889 painting ' Starry Night' in comparison to this look by BCBG Maxazria's Pre Fall 2011 collection. It's a bit of a stretch but I for one find this incredibly enlightening. The colors of Van Gough's moody master piece and the quirky curls and strokes of the brush are evident in this billowy blouse and sheer color-block skirt. The gold clutch pulls it all together.
